Using aromatic basmati rice seasoned with tumeric and tomato sauce with lots of fresh vegetables. A great vegetarian dinner or side dish for meat eaters. With so many vegetables, no need for a vegetable stock. 1 tsp. tumeric, 1/3 c. ea. onions, scallions, green beans, carrots, leeks and fresh parsley. , 4 garlic cloves, 6 ea. shitaki mushroom, 1/6 c. ea. yellow and green pepper, 1/2 c. loosely packed fresh basil, 1&1/4 c. fresh broccoli, 1 c. tomato sauce with 2 cups water for the 2 cups basmati rice, 1 tsp. sea salt, 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper, 1&1/2 c. freshly cooked garbanzo beans, 1/3 c. toasted almonds .
