Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, has been charged with three counts of perjury. Accountability Now director Paul Hoffman laid a complaint against her. That was after the Constitutional Court upheld a High Court ruling that found her conduct dishonest in an investigation into an apartheid era loan by the Reserve bank to Bankorp, now a part of Absa.
