Elaine Pearson, who is the Australia Director for Human Rights Watch, says at the UN Human Rights Council's universal periodic review, member countries raised concerns about Australia's policies towards asylum seekers and refugees, the over-representation of Indigenous Australians in the justice system and the minimum age of criminal responsibility.
