Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari announced today that the state has proposed pay cuts for executive council members, assemblypersons and the heads of state GLCs.

Amirudin said the pay reduction mechanism will be finalised soon and the savings will be channeled to the Covid-19 relief fund when the time comes.

He also announced that he would be donating his entire salary for January to show the state's dedication to lessen the burden of the people of Selangor.
