The annual Umno general assembly, which was scheduled for Jan 30 and 31, has been postponed indefinitely due to the movement control order (MCO).

Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan confirmed this in a statement today.

"The new date will be announced later on," he said.

He added that party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had also agreed for the Umno leadership election to be held at all levels at a suitable date in 2021.
