The 'Datuk' who was arrested on suspicion of assaulting and threatening a man at a hotpot restaurant in Tropicana Avenue, Petaling Jaya, has apologised for his actions.

In a video that was spread on social media, the 42-year-old man is seen facing the camera and reading a prepared statement of apology in Malay.

The man said he hoped this matter could be put to rest because he and his friend have handed themselves over to the police and they are ready to face whatever punishment given to them.
