Ahead of the Republic Day parade, security forces carried out rehearsals at the Rajpath. They practiced in the national capital. The number of Indian jawans has been reduced in the parade this year in wake of COVID-19 pandemic. India celebrates Republic Day on January 26. On this day, Indian Constitution came into effect in 1950.
