Home Minister Amit Shah was in Gujarat on the occasion of Makar Sakranti. Shah along with his wife offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple. In Gujarat, Makar Sankranti is celebrated with much fervour. Public kite flying events are held but this year those celebrations were cancelled in view of the pandemic.
