Today the festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated all over the country. From this morning, devotees are taking a dip of faith at Ganga Ghat. It is believed that bathing in holy rivers on the occasion of maKar Sankranti is of special importance. Therefore, on Thursday, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, people were seen taking a dip of faith in various ghats of the country including Varanasi, Prayagraj and Haridwar.
