Restaurant style Dal Makhani Recipe
Today I am sharing one of the most popular lentil recipes from the North Indian Punjabi cuisine that is Dal Makhani. It made with Whole Black Lentils and Kidney Beans which is slow cooked with some selected spices untill rich and creamy. Hope u will.like my recipe. Ingredients
Whole black urad dal - 1 cup
Rajma - 1/4 cup
Salt - as per taste
Cinnamon - 1 stick
Black cardamon - 1
Green Cardamon - 2
Star anise - 1
Cloves - 4
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 4 tbsp
Butter - 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 chopped
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Green chilli - 2 sliced
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
Dry Fenugreek leaves - 2 tbsp
Fresh cream - 4 tbsp
Fresh coriander - to garnish
For tadka/tempering:
Oil - 2 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic - 2 tbsp chopped
