Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined world leaders in condemning the riots and violence, by supporters of US President Donald Trump, which took place at the US Capitol building in Washington DC today. PM Modi said he is "distressed" to see the news and hoped that the transfer of power between President Donald Trump and US President-elect Joe Biden will be peaceful.
