Doc Rivers said "democracy will prevail" and congratulated Georgia for its successful efforts in overturning two Senate seats with record turnout for a runoff election in the state. He emphasized that it's a small number of people who overran and destroyed parts of the Capitol building on Wednesday afternoon amid the confirmation of Joe Biden winning the presidency. "The masses have spoken," he said in regards to Biden's win. "I've seen police dogs being unleashed on people and then you see today there's nothing. That's an emotion I have ... you know it's going to be the talk for both teams. Washington, for them, it's where they live ... probably worried about public safety for there families. It's a tough one tonight."
