With the start of the new year, it was approved to use two vaccines in the country in an emergency. But it was disputed. In such a situation, the Health Ministry made it clear in a formal press conference that keeping in mind every criteria, the indigenous vaccine has been allowed. For this, the head of ICMR, Dr. Balaram Bhargava, cited the law of new clinical trials and put forth the necessary parameters.

नए साल के आगाज के साथ ही देश में दो दो वैक्सीन कोआपातकालीन स्थिति में इस्तेमाल करने की मंजूरी दी गई . लेकिन इस पर विवाद हो गया. ऐसे में स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने औपचारिक प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में साफ कर दिया कि हर मापदंडों को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्वदेशी वैक्सीन को अनुमति दी गई है. इसके लिए आईसीएमआर के मुखिया डॉ. बलराम भार्गव ने न्यू क्लीनिकल ट्रायल्स के कानून का हवाला दिया और जरूरी मापदंडों को सामने रखा.
