AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, after the ongoing controversy about the indigenous vaccine to prevent the corona epidemic, made it clear that covaccin would only be used as a backup drug. कोरोना महामारी को रोकने के लिए बनी देसी वैक्‍सीन को लेकर चल रहे विवाद के बाद एम्‍स के डायरेक्‍टर रणदीप गुलेरिया ने साफ किया कि कोवैक्‍सीन को सिर्फ बैकअप दवा के तौर पर काम में लाया जाएगा. उन्‍होंने ये भी कहा कि हमें ये पता नहीं है कि सीरम इंस्‍टीट्यूट की वैक्‍सीन कोविशील्‍ड कितनी कारगर है. ये कितनी कारगर है जब तक इसका पता नहीं चल जाता है तब तक हम कोवैक्‍सीन को बैकअप के तौर इस्‍तेमाल करेंगे.
