Residents in Mariba ward in Bomachoge, Borabu constituency, Kisii county have decried laxity by Kenya power and lighting company in fixing electricity problems in the area. Speaking in Marina Township, the residents said they have had no power for more than eight months after the firm officials removed the only transformer in the shopping Centre which supplied power to their homesteads and shops.
