Hundreds of farmers protesting against new farm laws showed black flags to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while he was going to Ambala on December 22. BJP-led government in Haryana has been claiming that only some farmers aren't happy with the new laws. However, the number of farmers, with some arriving from neighbouring Punjab, has been steadily rising & they have dug in along the border with Delhi. Farmers on December 22 tried to block the long convoy that was escorting CM Khattar. Police then persuaded them to give way. In visuals, several farmers are seen waving black flags and even sticks at CM Khattar's convoy.
