West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday slammed the state’s chief minister Mamata Banerjee over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state following an attack on the convoys of senior BJP leaders in Diamond Harbour yesterday. Dhankhar added that the attack on BJP nation president JP Nadda and Kailash Vijayvargiya's convoys on Thursday was “most unfortunate”. “The law and order situation in WB has been continuously worsening for long. Distancing of governance from rule of law and constitutional parameters is on an alarming level (in Bengal),” Dhankhar said during a press conference today.
