In a major gaffe, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson seemed to have been confused between the ongoing farmers' protests in India and the India-Pakistan dispute. Responding to a question on the ongoing farmers' protest in India, PM Johnson said that the UK government's stance on the dispute between India and Pakistan is a bilateral one. Later, when India Today sought clarification, a UK government spokesperson said that the Prime Minister had "misheard" the question and that the Foreign Office is "closely" following the protests in India.
