Farmers have called for a nationwide strike, Bharat Bandh, today as the rounds of talks with the Centre failed to bear any results on their demand of withdrawing the 3 farm reform laws. As the farmers’ protest nears two weeks at the Delhi borders, the protest has gained support across the country. The Union Home Ministry on Monday issued advisories asking all states/UTs to ensure that law and order is maintained during the Bharat Bandh and destruction of public property is prevented at all costs.
