The Queen and Prince Phillip will spend Christmas day at Windsor Castle for the first time in 33 years.
The Queen usually travels to the picturesque Sandringham Estate in Norfolk each December.
Here, the Royal Family normally attend the Christmas Service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the grounds of the estate.
Under current Covid-19 restrictions, up to three households can meet indoors for Christmas
The extended Royal Family makes up ten separate households, though the Queen may host some visits at Windsor
So this year, just to be safe, the Queen's Christmas will be a much quieter affair. Report by Odonovanc. Like us on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/itn and follow us on Twitter at http://twitter.com/itn
