The agriculture minister has invited the protesting farmer groups for talks on Tuesday, two days before the scheduled meeting on December 3. The Union government cited cold and Covid-19 for the invitation to hold talks immediately. But before the talks with the government, farmers at Burari burned the effigy of PM Narendra Modi, Narendra Tomar and Manohar Lal Khattar.
