Thousands of farmers from Punjab, Haryana, and some other parts of the country, who have been staying put at Delhi's borders demanding the repeal of newly enacted farm laws and assurances from the Centre on the MSP regime and the mandi system, have been met with blocked roads, water cannons and tear gas at several places during their march towards the National Capital.
