The Perak Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has issued some RM118,650 worth of compounds to traders in the state for various offences.
Its director Saifullizan Kamarul Zaman told reporters that after conducting inspections at several wholesale shops at Jalan Bijih Timah in Ipoh on Friday (Nov 27), adding that most of the compounds were related to overpricing of items.
Separately, Saifullizan said all controlled consumer items are in stock.
