The Filipina took her Masters Degree in Theatre Directing at the Korean National University of Arts back in 2006 and has been working as an actress in Korea ever since. Though she started in musical theater, Cherish soon found her way to films and TV series. Her most recent project is a part in the drama Dr. Romantic that starred former Weightlifting Fairy star Lee Sung Kyung and Abyss actor Ahn Hyo Seop. She even mentioned that she became good friends with Sung Kyung and the actress would encourage and talk to her during tough times.
