The case of arrest of Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami is in the Supreme Court. As soon as the petition is filed, an immediate listing has been done for hearing in the Supreme Court. In such a situation, on the immediate listing, senior advocate and Supreme Court Bar Association President Dushyant Dave has questioned. Dushyant Dave has written a letter to the Secretary General of the Supreme Court in very strong words in the case of Arnab Goswami, Editor of Republic TV. Dave objected to the fact that Arnab's petition was listed as soon as it was filed, but such quick action was not taken in some such cases.

रिपब्लिक टीवी के एडिटर अर्णब गोस्वामी की गिरफ्तारी का मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट में है. याचिका दाखिल होते ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई के लिए तुंरत लिस्टिंग हो गई है. ऐसे में तुरंत लिस्टिंग पर वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता और सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार असोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष दुष्यंत दवे ने सवाल उठाया है. दुष्यंत दवे ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के महासचिव को रिपब्लिक टीवी के एडिटर अर्णब गोस्वामी के मामले में बिल्कुल कड़े शब्दों में एक पत्र लिखा है. दवे ने इस बात पर आपत्ति जताई कि अर्णब की याचिका तो दायर होते ही लिस्ट हो गई, लेकिन ऐसे ही कुछ मामलों में इस तरह की त्वरित कार्रवाई नहीं हुई थी
