Kamala Harris has become the first female, the first woman of Black origin, and the first Indian-American to become Vice President-elect in the US. Harris is no stranger to "firsts". She was California's first African-American Attorney-General in 2010, and later, a Senator in 2016.
Harris in her first address to the nation as Vice President-elect made a powerful speech, and said, "...While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last."
