Jeff Bridges Has Been
Diagnosed With Lymphoma.
The actor made the announcement
via Twitter on Monday.
According to the CDC, lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects "tissues and organs that produce, store and carry white blood cells that fight infections.".
It is often categorized as Hodgkin or Non-Hodgkin, depending on if it spreads through the lymph nodes in an orderly or non-orderly fashion.
Bridges has starred in over
70 films thoughout six decades.
Some of the films he is most known for include 'The Big Lebowski,' 'True Grit' and 'Seabiscuit.'
