Kanye West opened up about his
2020 presidential run in a new episode of
the 'Joe Rogan Experience' podcast. .
The 43-year-old rapper talked about how God came
to him in 2015 and inspired him to pursue politics.
It was something that God put in my
heart back in 2015 … A few days before
the MTV Awards it hit me in the shower. ,

move through his body and soul,
describing it as the “spirit” of God. .
When I first thought of it, I just started

West later said that he would consider
running for governor instead of president
if that was “God’s plan" for him.
However, he believes that his “calling”
is to be “leader of the free world.” .
West also said revealed that he was inspired to run
for president because of Donald Trump’s 2016 win.
