Justin Timberlake Joins Efforts
to Bring MLB to Nashville.
On Wednesday, Timberlake
announced he will be investing
in Music City Baseball. .
The group is working to bring Major League Baseball to
Nashville in the form of a team called the Nashville Stars. .
According to John Loar, leader of Music
City Baseball, Timberlake is “interested in
the entertainment angle” of the venture. .
I think he's passionate about sports and
he's interested in the entertainment angle
that we're presenting in building a world
class entertainment district, which includes
a ballpark. Incorporating music and sports
is interesting to him, John Loar, via 'USA Today'.
Timberlake released a
statement saying he was
“thrilled” about the vision.

Timberlake, a Tennessee native, is also an
avid sports fan and a minority owner of the
Memphis Grizzlies basketball franchise.
