Union Home Minister, Amit Shah visited Bankura during his two-day West Bengal tour to hold meetings with the party leadership and functionaries ahead of 2021 Bengal Assembly elections. Amit Shah said that he received an overwhelming response in Bengal. He launched a scathing attack on Mamata government saying that it is blocking central aid to Adivasis. With an eye on the tribal votes, Amit Shah will visit the tribal areas in the state and will also have lunch with tribal workers.
