Sri Lankan all-rounder and former captain Thisara Perera celebrates his 31st birthday on this day. One of the most promising cricketers to have emerged out of the Lankan nation, Perera has taken hat-tricks in both One-Day Internationals (Pakistan) and Twenty20 Internationals (India) making him one of only three players to have achieved the feat.
