Doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff is working round the clock in India’s fight against the deadly coronavirus. They are risking their lives but also making immense sacrifices on the personal front. Dr Ambika Singh, a resident doctor with AIIMS has opened up about the challenges faced. It is a possibility that they fall ill and we are not there to take care of them. You can never handle the guilt of that.” Dr Singh broke down while talking about her family. She said she has tears in her eyes because she has not met her parents for a long time now. Dr Singh also said the situation now is like a war.
