Just a day after the sad news of actor Irrfan Khan’s death, the world was shocked again with the news of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passing away in Mumbai aged 67 on April 30. He was admitted at HN Reliance Hospital on April 29 after he complained of breathing problems. The sad news was confirmed by his family. “Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukaemia,” read the statement.
