Confirmed COVID-19 cases in India neared the 30,000 mark on April 28. India now has 22,010 active patients, 937 deaths and 7,026 patients have been discharged/ cured. Maharashtra, the state with the most number of cases has 8,590 confirmed COVID-19 infections with 369 deaths. Meanwhile, coronavirus infections crossed the three million mark on April 27 while the United States crossed one million cases.
