Amina Usman interviewed Shagufta who is a very inspirational figure, running an NGO called DPO – Disable Person Organisation. Shagufta teaches hearing-impaired children who also lack the ability to speak. She herself suffers from polio which has made her empathetic towards everyone who is differently-able. Shagufta is a PhD student with a lively personality and a passion for singing. She shared her childhood memories with Amina and also highlighted the important work that she is doing for the betterment of the handicapped children. Watch the full interview to find out.
