On January 19, 2019, Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on a highway near Sahiwal encountered 5 people including a teenage girl in Suzuki Alto without any solid reason. The case was soon transferred to Lahore High Court and now the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has announced its decision in favor of the Sahiwal police.
