National Accountability Bureau judge Mohammad Bashir summoned PML-N's leader and vice president Maryam Nawaz on July 19, 2019 over fake trust deed in Avenfield case. NAB has been considered as an anti-corruption watchdog for the country. According to the NAB, Maryam Nawaz had cleverly submitted the fake and fabricated documented deed related to the case. The Islamabad court passed judgment in the Avenfield reference on July 6 according to which Nawaz Sharif was ordered 10 years prison with 1 billion and 29 cores fine, Maryam Nawaz had to pay Rs 32 crores as fine and had to spend 7 years in prison as a punishment and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar was ordered 1-year prison respectively.
