Local residents lay flowers at the door of the basilica in Nice a day after the knife attack there left three people dead.
A man wielding a knife killed three people at a church in the French city of Nice on Thursday, slitting the throat of at least one.
The assailant, who was shot and wounded by police, was identified as Brahim Aouissaoui, a 21-year-old Tunisian migrant who arrived in Italy in late September and later travelled to France, sources close to the inquiry have said.
