Sharad Purnima on October 30 ... which is considered to be a very special day for the worship of Goddess Lakshmi. It is said that on this day, Mother Lakshmi appeared during the Samudra Manthan, that is why this special day is celebrated as her birthday. Which is also known as Lakhmi Jayanti. So if the mother is to be happy then there can be no better day than this.

30 अक्टूबर को है शरद पूर्णिमा जो माता लक्ष्मी की आराधना के लिए बेहद ही विशेष दिन माना जाता है. कहते हैं इसी दिन मां लक्ष्मी समुद्र मंथन के दौरान प्रकट हुई थीं इसीलिए ये खास दिन इनके जन्मदिन के रूप में मनाया जाता है. जिसे लक्ष्मी जयंती के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. लिहाज़ा मां को प्रसन्न करना हो तो इससे बेहतर और कोई दिन हो ही नहीं सकता.
