An incident similar to Hathras in Uttar Pradesh has happened in Barabanki district. Here, the minor girl who went to harvest paddy in the field was murdered after the alleged confinement. Now a new twist has come in this matter. The victim's father has accused the police of forcibly burning the dead body. The father states that in Hinduism a minor is buried. There should be a CBI inquiry into the matter.

उत्तर प्रदेश के हाथरस जैसी घटना ही बाराबंकी जिले में घटी है। यहां खेत में धान काटने गई नाबालिग लड़की के साथ कथित दरिंदगी के बाद हत्या कर दी गई. अब इस मामले में नया मोड़ आ गया है। पीड़िता के पिता ने पुलिस पर जबरन शव जलाने का आरोप लगाया है. पिता का कहना है कि हिंदू धर्म में नाबालिग को दफनाया जाता है। इस मामले की सीबीआई जांच होनी चाहिए।
