A dalit teenage girl was raped and murdered when she went to harvest paddy in the field late Wednesday evening, in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. The postmortem report confirms the rape but it is being told that the girl was cremated even before the report arrived. Family members allege that the police was initially trying to suppress the case. Watch full report.
