There has been a rift in the NDA over the seat-sharing in Bihar Assembly Election. The upcoming Bihar Assembly election has witnessed an unusual cross-movement of leaders. The LJP, led by Lok Sabha MP Chirag Paswan, broke off from the ruling NDA as he was not happy with the assertion shown by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JDU. However, the LJP stays with the NDA at the Centre.
