Moong Dal ki Khasta Kachori

Today I am sharing Moong dal kachori recipe with u.Basically, khasta kachori is a spicy snack with mixture of moong dal and other lip smacking spices which is then deep fired to form a puri shape. Hope u will like my recipe.

Ingredients

For dough:
Refined flour/ maida - 2 cups
Carom seed/ Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil / ghee - 5 tbsp
Water - to knead dough

For stuffing:
Moonga dal - 1 cup (soaked for 2hr and grind coarsely)
Oil - 4 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp coarsely chrushed
Gram flour / Besa - 4 tbsp
Red chilly powdre - 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Dry mango powder/ amchur - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Dried fenugreek leaves/ kasuri methi - 1 tbsp

Oil - for frying kachori
Yoghurt - to serve
Sweet chutney - to serve
Green chutney - to serve
Sev bhujia - to serve
Chaat masala - to sprinkle
