The Duchess of Cornwall has visited the Mill End lunch club in Rickmansworth to meet with volunteers who have overcome recent challenges posed by the pandemic to reinstate their much-needed lunch sessions. The Duchess helped to serve lunch to a group of regular diners, including 86-year-old Doris Winfield. Her Royal Highness spoke with Doris on the phone during lockdown and the pair have corresponded via letter since. This will be the first time they have met in person. Report by Thomasl.
