फॉल्स टीआरपी रैकेट.. यानी पैसे देकर टीआरपी खरीदा जा रहा था. और इसका भंडाफोड़ मुंबई पुलिस ने किया है. पुलिस कमिश्नर परमबीर सिंह ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस कर बताया कि रिपब्लिक टीवी समेत 3 चैनल पैसे देकर टीआरपी खरीदते थे और बढ़वाते थे. 3 में से 2 के नाम हैं फक्त मराठी और बॉक्स सिनेमा. ये दोनों छोटे चैनल हैं. इन चैनलों के मालिकों को हिरासत में ले लिया गया है. उन्होंने कहा कि हमने आरोपियों के खिलाफ विश्वास तोड़ने और धोखाधड़ी करने का केस दर्ज किया है. तीसरा चैनल रिपब्लिक टीवी है.
