Arrested: Eight cops suspected of protecting online gambling, scam operations

Eight police officers have been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on suspicion of protecting individuals operating online gambling and phone scams.
In an interview with MACC.fm on Thursday (Oct 8), its chief Datuk Seri Azam Baki said 11 locals and a Chinese national were also arrested as part of the investigations.
