The general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Sitaram Yechury, and Communist Party of India (CPI) leader, D Raja took part in a protest against the Hathras incident at Jantar Mantar on October 02. Yechury said “The Uttar Pradesh government has no right to stay in power. Our demand is that justice should be served.”Meanwhile, actress Swara Bhasker also joined the protest at Jantar Mantar.
