An ex-ANC MP, Vincent Smith, has just been granted bail. He handed himself over to police this morning. And he has just appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's court near Alberton. Earlier this morning, the National Prosecuting Authority started arresting those implicated in the embezzling of state funds. Several officials were arrested yesterday in connection with the 2014 Free State Asbestos project.
