Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the Hathras gangrape incident. PM said that strict action should be taken against the culprits. Adityanath has formed a 3-member panel to probe the Hathras gangrape and death case and asked the team to submit a report. This comes after the UP government and UP Police came under heavy criticism following the death of the 19-year-rape victim who suffered grievous injuries when she was subjected to severe brutality in her village.
