The Rajya Sabha has passed the bills related to the agriculture sector that have triggered much controversy in the country with farmers being apprehensive that the bills will overlook their interests. The bills were deemed as passed by the Rajya Sabha after major uproar and protest by the opposition. Farmers of Haryana-Punjab are also on the roads protesting against the bills.
